We will posting a synopsis of the book here in February. Robert and Simon have been liaising over the outline of the project lately and work begins in earnest next month.
In related news, Simon has been in discussions with a major TV production company, with a view to producing a TV documentary based on the book, again, check back here often for updates on this.
October 2001
Welcome to the first of my Egypt Decoded Diaries. Here I hope to keep you all updated on the progress Robert Bauval and myself are making on our co-authored project, Egypt Decoded.
Not a great deal to report for the month of October - except to say that the contracts have at last been signed with Century/Random House. The book will, we hope, re-define the genre and promises to be as controversial and explosive as Robert's previous projects have been.
Keep checking back here for a brief synopsis of the contents of the project, Robert and I will put that together for inclusion on the site in the November instalment of the diary.
